ELLEN CONROY
Ellen Conroy, whose background includes over 15 years as an executive assistant, office manager, writer and editor, started her company, In An Orderly Fashion, in 2003.
After leaving corporate America, Ellen attended the L.A. Wilson Technological Center in Dix Hills, NY where she earned a Certificate of Study in Interior Design & Decoration. In September 2003, Ellen became a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers)* and as a result of her background and experience she was hired to be a contributing writer to Peter Walsh’s (TLC’s Clean Sweep) 2004 organizing book "How to Organize Just About Everything."

In An Orderly Fashion is a full-service, hands-on organizing company for residences and home/commercial businesses. Whether it’s one filing cabinet or every room in your house, In An Orderly Fashion will help you clear out the clutter and set up effective organizational systems to suit your particular needs and lifestyle. In An Orderly Fashion’s goal is simple — to help you achieve a more productive, aesthetically functional, and stress-free environment in which to live and/or work.
In An Orderly Fashion also provides services to new homeowners by helping them unpack, set-up and organize their possessions so they can settle comfortably into their new homes. Conversely, we also stage homes for sellers where each room is arranged and organized so that the result is the most attractive and appealing it can be for potential homebuyers.
Ellen is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) and POLI (Professional Organizers of Long Island) and has a Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization from the NSGCD (National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization).
This Code of Ethics is a set of principles to provide guidelines in our professional conduct with our clients, colleagues, and community. As a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, I pledge to exercise judgment, self-restraint, and conscience in my conduct in order to establish and maintain public confidence in the integrity of NAPO members and to preserve and encourage fair and equitable practices among all who are engaged in the profession of organizing.
